Management Brainstorming Seminars

STRENGTHEN YOUR MANAGEMENT TEAM WITH CUSTOMIZED SEMINARS FOR EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS THROUGH CONSTRUCTIVE MANAGEMENT BRAINSTORMING.

EXECUTIVE BRAINSTORMING SEMINARS, INDIVIDUALLY CUSTOMIZED FOR YOUR PARTICULAR ORGANIZATION.

2 DAY PROGRAM (YOUR CHOICE OF LOCATION):

  • AT YOUR LOCATION OR
  • AT A RESORT OR
  • ON A CRUISE SHIP

Each seminar is limited to the executives of one corporate participant and is individually customized to suit the participating company's particular business or area of concern, e.g. profitability, marketing, logistics, procurement, general operations, financial control etc., etc.

PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE SEMINAR.

Once a date and location have been decided upon, we will make all the necessary reservations, if required, as well as arrange for all of the seminar materials.  With most off-site locations a 2 to 4 month window is required, but depending on the location, a 12 month advance booking is sometimes necessary.

Approximately 3 to 4 weeks before the commencement of the seminar, we will visit the participating company for 1 or 2 days in order to interview key management as well as to get familiar with your organization.  With this information we will make all the necessary preparations for the upcoming seminar.

THE ACTUAL SEMINAR

There will be a 1 hour introduction of the program to the participants.  It is recommended that this take place over dinner the evening before the actual seminar commences.  It is preferred that participants do not come to this seminar prepared.

After breakfast the following morning we will lead the group in the fun process of getting participants to randomly identify problems / issues within the topic of the seminar.  These issues will be listed randomly on a flip chart.  This listing will continue until all known problems / issues , real or imaginary, important or trivial, are exhausted.  No criticism of the listing will be permitted and no solutions are required during this process.

Once the listing has been exhausted, all listed items will be prioritized by all participants, using a unique and "democratic" process (using an A,B, C rating system).

The process then continues where the group identifies possible solutions for the A's and some of the B's listed above.  Not all solutions identified may be viable.  Free thinking is encouraged during this process.  No potential solutions identified at this point in time are allowed to be criticized.

The group then identifies those solutions that have the best chance of solving the problem / issue.

For all A and most B issues and possible solutions, the group agrees on a course of action as well as identifies which of the attendees will be responsible for implementing the solutions.  Consensus is then obtained on an achievable time table.

AFTER THE SEMINAR

Approximately two weeks after the completion of the program, the client company will receive a complete copy of the seminar content, in readable, letter size format.

Between 2 and 3 months after the seminar, we will visit with the participant company for 1 or 2 days to monitor progress being made since the seminar and to see how assigned responsibilities are being accomplished.
